We know that there are many advantages for the aluminum. It is light, stable, strong and recyclable. And it has the characteristics of safety to use, UV radiation resistance and hygiene. The key is that it is an excellent heat conductor and can be made different aluminum detachable cookware. In daily life, people often used different kinds of aluminum products, such as aluminum catering pots, aluminum food pans, aluminum roasting pots and so on. But do you know the difference between die cast, press and forged aluminum? When you see an aluminum cooking pan, do you want to know more knowledge about it? Today we will talk about it. Let us get to know together.

The process of die cast aluminum

Generally speaking, die-casting aluminum forming process can be divided into three parts, die casting molding, rough polishing to remove the remaining material from the mold and fine polishing. Compared with the processing method of die-casting alloy, the equipment used is different. Its raw materials are aluminum ingot and alloy materials, and the purity is about 92%. After alloy materials are melted in the furnace and then enter into the die-casting machine to mold. The shape of die-cast aluminum products can be designed like toys with different shapes and convenient connection in various directions. In addition, it has high hardness and strength, and can be mixed with zinc to form a zinc-aluminum alloy.

On the other hand, the die-cast aluminum production process requires molds to be manufactured, and the molds are very expensive, which are higher than other molds such as injection molds. At the same time, mold maintenance is very difficult, and it is difficult to reduce materials to repair once the design of die cast aluminum cookware appears errors. So it will influence aluminum pot price too.

The process of press and forged aluminum

Except aluminum pot series, we often see some aluminum products such as aluminum screens and windows. Usually they adopt the extrusion molding process, that is to say, after the raw materials such as aluminum ingots are melted in the furnace, they are extruded through the extruder to the die to flow out. It can also extrude various products with different cross-sections. The main properties including strength, hardness, and wear resistance are in accordance with the national standard. The advantages are light, and there is no rust. The key is that the mold investment is low, and longitudinal elongation can be up to 10 meters or more. Usually the appearance of the aluminum products is divided into bright and matte. The treatment process adopts anodizing treatment, and the surface treatment oxide film reaches a thickness of 0.12mm. And the wall thickness of the aluminum products is selected according to the optimization of the product design. It is designed according to the requirements of cross-sectional structure. So, it is widely used in furniture such as screen frames, windows, decorative strips and so on. Of course, forged aluminum pan and aluminum pots and pans set are being designed more and more exquisite in order to meet the requirements of people.
